My Business: Union Hill Financial Planning I am an independent. I use ScotTrade Advisor Services for those clients who want me to monitor their accounts but they want to retain control. I never take custody of client funds or make trades for clients. To be able to charge less, I work out of my house where I have a nice meeting room to meet clients. If my kids are home I meet clients at their homes or at convenient meeting rooms I have access to around town. I am comfortable meeting clients on weekends and evenings — I know you’re busy!
