I want to match reality to your vision for retirement. That means examining your savings rate, spending, investments, and career. There’s a lot more to it than that. Don’t accept an instant plan from an advisor who won’t be there to support it. I will help you implement and monitor your plan. |

Comprehensive Financial Planning |

A subset of financial planning, I can find ways to save you money with a clear investment plan that matches your risk level and objectives. For each client I develop a unique Investment Policy Statement, which is our game plan and gives us discipline. I am fee-only. That means no commissions. (“Fee-based” means they can charge commissions or other hidden fees.) Fee-only is your best, unbiased value. |

Investment Advice |

I do tax projections for all my clients and review their annual returns before they file. All my investment recommendations are tax-aware. I find ways to save via deferrals, exchanges, and strategic timing of income. Tax laws change every year. My recommendations take advantage of those changes and I often recommend year-end strategies. |

My background in finance (an MBA) and in technology (an engineer, etc.) has given me plenty of experience to develop the spreadsheets you need to analyze your stock options, RSU’s, ESOPS, etc. We can lock in gains, avoid capital gains, and do what makes sense to diversify your portfolio. |
